So far so good. It looks like this battery is as good as the original that came with the camera.

This battery works great, there isn’t much of a difference, if any, between this and the battery that came with the camera. I definitely would recommend choosing this over the canon brand if you are going to buy an extra (or replacement) battery. Can’t beat the price.

This battery is 1400mAh compared to the official Canon NB-5L, which is rated at 1120mAh. That means a single charge on this one should last even longer than factory, as opposed to most competitors which are only a pitiful 800mAh or less. FYI, it works in my Canon SX200 IS camera. (Color is more gray than the brown image above and is labeled 1400mAh rather than the 1200mAh shown.)
